The German Innovation Award, initiated by the German Design Council (Rat für Formgebung), recognises products and solutions that create real value for users. In 2021 the jury named Findustrial’s “Platform for industrial fintech” a Winner in the category Information Technologies, Industry Specific and Service Software, in the class Excellence in Business to Business.
The award came one year after the company was founded in Schörfling am Attersee, at a point where the first machines were being connected and billed through the platform. For a young company it was an early external signal that Equipment-as-a-Service for manufacturers was more than a financing idea: the jury looked at the product, the data model behind usage-based billing and the way manufacturers, operators and financing partners work on one platform.
