Schörfling am Attersee. If the founders of Findustrial have their way, the financing products of the banking and leasing world have had their day. Users of machines and equipment need business models that match the flexible demands of an increasingly dynamic market. That is why Günter Hehenfelder (CEO) and Martin Gruber (CFO/COO) founded Findustrial in early 2020. The fintech start-up, based in Schörfling am Attersee, develops a range of new financing solutions built specifically for usage-based business models and provides them on a digital platform. In doing so, Findustrial connects industry with the financial world and lays the foundation for financing based on IoT data.
In a further financing round Findustrial has now raised a seven-figure amount. Among the new investors is Bamberger GmbH from Puchkirchen am Trattberg. Its CEO Christian Bamberger founded a highly successful international payment company years ago, left after a successful exit and today holds stakes in several sectors, now including Findustrial GmbH. “With Christian we have won not only an absolute expert in payments but also an internationally experienced and successful start-up founder as an investor,” says CEO Günter Hehenfelder about one of the new backers.
CFO Martin Gruber calls the completed round an absolute milestone in the company’s development. The fresh capital will go into internationalisation and opening up new markets, and into the further development of the pay-per-use platform.
